Reflexology and Reiki

Reflexology is a specialist massage based on the principle that the body is ‘mapped’ on the soles of the feet, hands or face. By gently working on specific reflex points our therapist can help the body create a state of equilibrium, ease stress and anxiety and improve sleep.

Reiki

The word Reiki comes from the Japanese word Rei meaning ‘Universal Life’ and Ki meaning ‘Energy’. It’s a healing art which promotes and balances the flow of energy in the body and is effective at relieving stress, easing discomfort and enhancing wellness. Reiki is very unique in that the energy flows to where it is needed so simply holding a hand or being close to someone can transfer this energy.

When we sit for long periods of time, we do not use the full expanse of our lungs to keep us feeling calm and relaxed. Simply taking a moment to slow down and breathe deeply can have far reaching effects on general wellbeing, it can significantly reduce stress and help to clear and energise the mind.
